If he’s so proud of his record, why is he not running on it?
What policies are in place to substantiate the projected lowering of unemployment? The only thing I see is that people will run out of unemployment and stop looking. Therefore they won’t be counted.

Liberals think wealth is produced by spending. They assume that if the government spends enough money, that will create jobs because that money has to be paid to someone. After failing every time it's tried, they figure that strategy is due for a success.

I had a discussion with a liberal college professor, in a bar of all places, and he was all in favor of Keynesian economics. I asked why it had not worked so far and he said because we have not spent enough yet. I said that is like trying to drink yourself sober. I then asked where the government got the money they spent. He seemed momentarily stumped so I told him they get it from taxpayers, borrow it (meaning it had to be repaid by taxpayers), or print it which lowers its value. He agreed so I then asked why go through the process of taking the money from the taxpayer, processing it through the government (which uses up a large portion of it) and then letting politicians and bureaucrats decide how to spend it? Why not just let the taxpayer/consumer decide himself how to spend it and short circuit the whole process. Well, you know the routine, the taxpayer may not spend it correctly.
I told him he was too wrapped up in the academic cocoon to see anything else so there was no need to go any farther. I told him I used to think that liberals, which he denied he was, simply wanted some elite intellectuals to tell people how to live but I have since decided that each liberal actually wants to tell everyone how to live themselves. They want to rule the show. He was insulted by that.
What he did as a professor, he said, was coach students how to keep an open mind and consider all possible scenarios. I had to laugh.
I don't think there are many innocent liberals. There are power hungry tyrant wannabes, like Obama and union leaders, who want to control the little people or to destroy things they could never have created. There are greedy parasites who recognize that liberalism is theft, but think they will be on the receiving end of the graft. I doubt that many Dem voters are sincere in believing their goals would be objectively good for society; it's about power for them or loot for them as individuals. I suspect he knows the truth but doesn't want to admit it.

Well, you’re correct for sure. I’d just not added that because I feel that is an intrisic flaw of most any liberal; take life indiscriminately when it suits your purpose and control life throughout all phases.
You can be sure it wasn’t at the home of a single mom whose teen age kids were suspended from school, even though those are the most common kind in a liberal-created world.
