Going through the story that was laid out in the press conference today by Sharon Bialek, Levin has found a few ‘problems’ that necessitate more information. He said earlier in the show that he was unable to get Gloria Allred to book her client on his show, so he’s basically left with just questions that need answers. One such question is why, after Cain had already ‘upgraded’ Bialek’s hotel room and then took her out to eat at an Italian restaurant would Cain then ask Bialek why she was meeting with him. Another question would be why he took her to the NRA to show her around if she had already worked there before? And there’s more.
Levin makes clear he’s not suggesting one way or the other the potential outcome of this story, who is guilty and who isn’t, but that he just believes her story doesn’t quite make sense and thus he would like to ask her a few questions.

Yea, lots of questions. But if the Romney/Perry people are reduced to having to drag out women with of this caliber, and ‘represented’ by Allred, then it’s difficult to be worried about whether Cain can get through this.
Perhaps she though she was meeting “Client Number Nine, Nine Nine.”
Whoa, you've got me all wrong here. I am defending Cain. I am questioning the one sole allegation that has been made against him (by Bialek). As you pointed out, she claims she told no one. Yet Allred says the boyfriend gave her a(n anonymous) statement saying he was aware of his since it happened. My main argument here is that this yet-to-be-published account from the former boyfriend has too many holes in it. Find that boyfriend, and the case offered by Allred will come crashing down.
As far as I am concerned, there has been only one allegation made against Cain which requires defending, and that allegation does not even have a date attached to it. As for the other so-called FReepers here who are saying that Cain's campaign is over, they can all go to hell. It's time that someone in the Republican Party stood up for once and fought off these lying Regressive scum instead of bowing out and snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Last week the left’s smear machine spent their time with the Podesta associated lawyer trying to make a big issue out of the alleged “harrassment” claims that we heard about.
I imagine they did all they could to try and coerce the people that made those claims to come out. For whatever reason that only those persons know, they decided not to.
Could be they were asked to embellish and make those allegations more salacious than they were. Remember at first we heard that the complaint against Cain was not overtly sexual in nature.
By the end of the week those complaints were spun as being somewhat sexual.
So, last week didn’t work at taking Cain down. We saw the weekend dem hack machine discuss how there were really no faces ar actual claims to get people to believe it.

They call Gloria and the Chi-town dem hacks to come up with a name and face. Hence Bialek. Only thing I could believe with Bialek is that she didn’t seek out Gloria Allred all at once because she cares about sexual assault. The woman is shady and needs money. Gloria and the dems sought her out and they knew she would do anything for the bucks.
I wouild wager to say they have had plans in advance on all of the potentials. That is why the dems were so upset when our field took so long to set.
This particlar story I don’t believe at all. It was too convenient.
I also believe this woman would not go to a Tea Party and throw her arms around a man who sexually assaulted her. If this happened I would believe it was done to try and get some DNA to plant in order to give some credence to this false claim. After all, who knows how long they have had plans to take down candidates in the hopper?
Where did she get the money to fly to D.C.? She was in debt up to her dyed blond hair.
Receipts, where are the receipts? It’s been fourteen years but at that time alot of stuff was done on computers and stored.
Wow! Now if Bill Curtis said and thinks that, it's over for this woman and her bottom feeding lawyer, 'Glory Allwet'.
Curtis is not as much of a flaming lib as his old partner, Walter Jacobson was and is, but he's not exactly a 'right-winger' either.
(an aside, Bill Curtis is a former Marine. Boot Camp was at Paris Island. I found that info about him 'interesting'.)

This woman has a very checkered past. If anyone is lying, this broad is. Bill Kurtis worked with her at CBS in Chicago and was interviewed. He basically said she has a bad reputation around the station and Cain shouldn’t worry, it will come out soon.
Still think we should rush to judgement against Cain, the way you two were yesterday? I can't believe there are FReepers who would fall for a Gloria Allred dog and pony show.
But unprincipled partisanship can do that to someone, I guess. Especially when your choice of candidate is sinking like a brick due to his largely self-inflicted political wounds.

I’m a big believer in the KISS principle. Your short but logical narrative hits the nail on the head.
This fictional and despicable story has chnged so many times over the last week or so there is no way to to take it seriously. At this point on Cain’s enemies are invested in continuing the charade.
The upside for Cain is that it has energized his supporters and helped persuade others to join them. I remain committed to sending Cain another donation every time Onada’s propaganda organs trot out another “victim” or “witness”.
Nothing so far has caused me to believe this anymore than an attempted lynching.
Also upgrades are often at the discretion of the check in clerk and subject to availability.
You don’t need $800 for an $800 upgrade. A $50 or $100 bribe will do the trick, particularly if you know someone in management who has done this for you before.

Medved has been on the attack against anyone “not Romney” for a while. He is clearly wanting Cain to go away. I don’t respect his opinion on Cain.

I agree, they probably knew him at the Hilton and it was probably a common business practice. (and again, I don’t think he paid it out of his own pocket)
I think much of her story sounds believable and that she just stretched the the crotch grabbing/head shoving portion.
I am supposing that the meeting was more casual than usual business but not nearly as far and to the point she describes.
The problem I see is that Cain seems a bit foolish/naive in his not better protecting himself from possible accusations as he has suffered.
Since the mid 80’s or so people sadly should know better and tread carefully in some situations.
Work situations, around children etc... it is sad but the truth.

Hewitt is desperate to get Cain out the picture, as are Medved, Bennett and Tom Sullivan. I am sick of them saying Cain handled this “badly”. I turned Medved off years ago and am now doing the same for the rest.
