Perry Operative Chris Wilson Accuses Cain Of Sexual Harassment…To Politico, Of Course
The Conservative Review ^ | 11/2/11 | Marcus Porcius

Oh, and remember how in the title of this post I called him a Perry operative? That’s because if you go down almost to the very end of the story, there’s this minor detail:

Wilson is a Rick Perry supporter and does polling for a Super PAC that supports the Texas governor’s presidential bid.

Do you all ever get tired of lying?

BLOCK: All the evidence that we had on what’s transpired in the last two weeks led up to Mr. Anderson as being the source. We were absolutely thrilled that he came on your show and said that it wasn’t him, because Mr. Cain has always had the utmost respect for him. I’m going to do the same thing that Mr. Anderson has done and move on, talk about the issues and get off this silliness as he called it, and let’s get on with the campaign.

Wilson told a new story about a new person. A Perry operative dishing dirt.

BTW, Cain is doing well on Jimmy Kimmel.

This new one is helping him I think. He just needs increasingly ridiculous stories. The early stories probably had at least a tiny bit of merit. This last one was bs.

And Cain, with probably a lot of eyeballs on him, just crushed it.

Cain just argued that all of this sex stuff was a good thing for him. He sure is likeable.

I am currently watching Herman on the Jimmy Kimmel show, what a hoot. He is taking this bimbo head on and holding a presser tomorrow.

Herman is not backing off, well, I'll have to send him another donation.

He also said the Perry campaign. But the important thing to remember is that neither Cain nor Block EVER accused Wilson of being the person who gave the story to Politico.

So even when both were attacking Perry, and naming names, Wilson isn’t the name they used. And that was AFTER Wilson made his comments to Politico.

So apparently, neither Cain nor Block found this piece of evidence persuasive enough to use it in their attack on Perry’s campaign. Why? Why did they attack Curt Anderson, and not Wilson? Why do some insist Wilson was the person to blame, when neither Cain nor Block thought so?

Perry is a disgusting racist pig for doing this. I have lost all respect for that man.

Perry could not out debate Cain so he trashes him on false allegations.

Yeah this woman is so hurt and that why she doing the talk show circuit and not going to the police. This lady is so full of $hit it's obvious. Her mannerisms do not sound like someone hurt. Moreover, the fact that she laughed about it when her Leftist Lunatic Lawyer called it Cain's Stimulus tells you this is B.S.

I wonder what she why she was fired and if she will take a lie detector test? Oh and why was her boyfriend not there to collaberate her story? Finally, why does have a lawyer? There is no court case.

Perry’s Super PAC pollster Wilson was the guy who first brought forward “woman #3” .

Woman #3 is nameless, and did not get paid. Wilson simply said that he was with Cain, and Cain acted inappropriately.

If someone wants for find other sources, other references to woman #3, from some other source than Perry’s Wilson, we can assume that woman #3 was just made up by Perry’s Wilson.

I’m not saying that only Perry’s Wilson has mentioned woman #3, but I’d certainly welcome links to other sources than Perry’s Wilson.

Actually, I’m confused as to how you know the woman Wilson spoke about at the restaurant is woman #3. Women #3 spoke with a reporter, and gave her story. So I don’t think we got her story from Wilson.

I believe Wilson was talking about one of the 1st two women, not the 3rd woman. He was talking about the politico story, and he mentions that “the fact she left”, which sounds like one of the two women who had termination agreements. The 3rd woman didn’t leave, she just ended up in a job where she didn’t interact with Cain.

NOTE: ALL MY REFERENCES are based SOLELY on the statements made, and I’m not endorsing them or giving them any weight, except as regards to identifying which woman Wilson was speaking about. Wilson was sleezy to talk about the restaurant thing the way he did, and I’m not saying he was in any way truthful in what he said.

ALL I am saying is that Wilson was unlikely to be the original source of the story (he denied he was the source in a politico article, and that’s not how confidentiality works in the news business), and neither Cain nor Block considered him as the source.

If you have a link to an original source that clears up the Wilson/#3 link, I would certainly appreciate it.

Wilson declined to say specifically what Cain said or did to the woman, but that the CEO’s actions made other individuals at the table uneasy.”

Once again, it’s an unnamed woman, completely unspecified actions, “gestures” or remarks, and apparently they were so horrible that no charges were ever filed, no complaint made, and nobody else has ever come forward until now…even though it supposedly happened more than a decade ago.

This article says: “no complaint made”

Women 1 and 2 are the ones who DID make a complaint.

Therefore, this was woman #3.

There might be some link other than this article that clears this up. I’m not saying I’m the expert.

What I think I see are 4 women

Woman 1, Woman 2 - these women got money from the Restaurant Association. Cain was no longer at the Restaurant Association when these women got the money. We don’t know anything about why these women got this money. We do know it has something to do with Cain and allegations of sexual harassment. This was the original Politico story, and people don’t know how Politico got this story. What woman 1 and woman 2 have to say is relevant, as at least the restaurant association took them seriously enough to pay them some money. It doesn’t mean their charges are true, or are indicative of the nature of the charges, but until they answer, this will continue to hang over Cain’s head, to some degree.

Woman 3 - It appears that Perry’s Wilson is the only person talking about Woman 3. Perry’s Wilson tells a story of a dinner in a restaurant where Perry’s Wilson said Cain behaved badly. I think that’s all we know about Woman 3. Perry’s Wilson could easily just be making up Woman 3.

Woman 4 - was the woman from earlier today with Allred.

I could be wrong on any of those details, and would be interested in links to clarify especially about Woman #3 - Restaurant Woman. Who else but Perry’s Wilson has been talking about Woman #3?

—Block cleared Perry of involment last week.—

Did something change? I know Block cleared one person within the Perry campaign, but still laid blame on the Perry campaign.

—I suspect he acted on his own rather than in concert with the Perry folks.—

I’m with you. It is not necessary to blame Perry for this, and not really productive. The story is no longer the accusations anyway. Just as Michael Medved said that it is all probably baloney, but Cain’s response proves he should not be president (A position I strongly diagree with and consider Medved a Romneybot), the REAL story is the MSM jumping the shark on this story.

I swear I could go to MSNBC and claim that Cain made homosexual advances to me and they’d give me a live on-air interview.

Hmmmm. Wonder if there’s any bucks in that...

Frankly, this Chris Wilson connection is extremely damning of the Perry campaign, whether Perry knew about it or not. Chris’ connection to the NPR and his own comments strongly imply he was the source of all this stuff.

Too many coincidences.

Probably nothing will change. If it turns out that Cain had sex with a bimbo 10 years ago, he will blame Rick Perry.

It's obvious that Perry is Cain's Alinsky target.

“Cui bono “

The timing of this whole thing clearly points to republicans as the source. If it happened next October, it would point to Democrats.

It’s not rocket science.
