That would be his confession of Treason in front of God, Congress, and We the People.
Of course, this is a Senate committee, with a Democrat Chairman. Sen. Grassley will do what he can but ol’ “Leaky Leahy” will be running the show. You can bet the farm he won’t let Holder get too bloodied.
No War on Drugs, No Mexican Drug Cartels, no Fast and Furious, Constitution Restored.
It’s a beautiful thing.
But when that didn't work, they ignored any evidence of Muslim involvement in the Oklahoma City bombing and subsequent events (not to mention treating the WTC bombing of '93 as an isolated event), just so they could sell the 'dangerous right wing extremist' meme.
Holder is complicit in many deaths as a result of gun walker.
He should go to jail.
Of course he will ultimately resign. The question is will he resign this year or in ten years?
Following the script.
Expect a bill before the end of the year in order to get it over with by the election cycle.
I believe it was all about gun control. I remember when the Obama administration was early on making a big deal out of guns going from the U.S. to Mexico, fueling the cartel war. Many of us scoffed at the idea since they could easily get bigger and better things from elsewhere and cheaper to boot. This was their way to prove us wrong, the problem wasn’t there so they had to create it.
It will simply sell more guns and ammo.
Or the “Obaba should not arm criminal gangs but he did and should go to jail” bill.
Of COURSE Holder is going to lobby for tighter gun control: that was the whole POINT of the “Fast and Furious” operation - to provide a basis for just this sort of thing.
After all, Columbine-type events are hard to orchestrate, and just aren’t always there when the gun-grabbers need them...
This would set a precedent for future administrations ...
if God forbid there were a President Romney I could definitely see him doing this.
Remember how he crowed about a safer Mass. when he signed off on their AWB?
Obama’s plan all along with this government crime.
LOL That was when the whole militia thing went big in national news. Militias began springing up all over the place. But Florida had it's own version rolling along since the Bay of Pigs. They're sorta still around (Alpha 66) but worry more about getting their geritol than retaking Cuba these days.
Florida also had a "real" militia as well and I remember when the cops tried to infiltrate them. The story made the round of the local gun clubs, which is where I heard about it. They kept asking when the guns were going to come out and the commander kept telling them (easy to spot agitators and infiltrators -- they want to blow something up or kill somebody) to study the training schedule. The next six months were disaster drills for post hurricane assistance efforts.
I was teaching in a middle school back then. One day at lunch in the teachers lunch room one of the pretty but uber liberal math teachers calls out across the room to me, virtually yelling to ask if I was a member of a militia? The whole room paused to listen. I considered and replied: "Naaaaaw, I wouldn't hang out with that bunch of SISSIES!" She ran from the room screaming while I finished eating and the rest of the group laughed. "Mess with ExSoldier, expect to get cut..." was the general opinion.
We desperately need a strong Second Amendment candidate. If obama gets another four he’s coming for our guns.
Since the federal government violated all kinds of existing gun controls, engaged in entrapment of private citizens in the process and placed citizens in jeopardy, it should be stripped of the ability to have arms.
Private citizens did a pretty good job of providing for the common defense in the pre- and post-revolutionary war days. They possessed and used every contemporary armament quite successfully. It can be done again.
