No need to talk like a moron or to call people names. I think this whole "athletics builds character" crap is very highly overrated.

I acknowledge that the football player should take advantage of what he gets, but, on the other hand don't have JoPa or any other asshat coach tell me that sports builds character. I think they'd do far better learning in the classroom rather than preening and prancing on a football field.

I suspect that if the college sports didn't cater to some of these clowns and if the NFL didn't employ these crybabies as players, most of them would be in prison. Is the implication that if you're NOT an athlete, you're going to be a moral cripple?

gee, such a clever well-thought out argument from a guy who shares a Stooge surname. However, Christy Mathewson used to be used as an arbitrator back in the day if both of the two umps working the field wasn't in position to make a call, even if it went against Christy's team.
