Speaking of tobacco, for a long time I've recalled this Martin and Lewis spoof of the quiz shows so popular in the 1950s. I found it. It's 18 mins. but along about 7 minutes is the tobacco question that contestant (Lewis) must answer. Martin is the $64,000,000 Question host Hal April. Martin and Lewis spoofs the $64,000 Question

Edward R. Morrow was another one who smoked a lot during his show. He was often spoofed for it.

Near the end of the show when Lewis is kept submerged in a tank of water it looked like things got a little out of control prompting Lewis to yell a Martin "Haven't you heard? Our quarrel is over!"

BTW, IMO those old Milton Berle shows from the 50's are pure entertainment. I enjoyed them then I really like them now. I don't have copies but I watched several when I has Netflix.
