“She is very honest. She would not make anything up,” her father Chester Bialek, 85, told the Daily News.
Bialek, a 50-year-old Chicagoan, only came forward with her tale of being groped by Herman Cain because she felt it was her duty — not some publicity or political stunt.
“She’s a conservative, just like me. To be honest, this dazzled me. I had no idea she was even in New York,” he said.
“She would not lie.”
Bialek’s fiancé, Mark Harwood, told WBBM radio she is has a “good heart.”
“My heart of heart says the reason she’s come forward is to be the voice of these other ladies (and to) vindicate herself a little bit,” said Harwood, who has been with Bialek for four years — and her fiancé for the past year.
Bialek’s celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, said Bialek has been a full-time homemaker for the past two years, doting on her 13-year-old son.
Bialek met Cain through her former job with the National Restaurant Association’s education foundation, and sought his help in July 1997 after losing her position.
Bialek said all she got for her networking efforts was a unwanted sexual advance, and instead settled into a five-year stint in the marketing department for WGN Radio, followed by three years at CBS Radio.
Before landing at the NRA’s education foundation, Bialek hosted a cooking show for nearly a decade, worked for Revlon as an account manager and in corporate development for the Easter Seals Society.
“She’s had a lot of jobs, and some problems, but I don’t want to get too personal,” her dad said.
Bialek twice filed for bankruptcy protection, in 1991 and in 2001, court records show.
Allred said Bialek could have sold her story, but chose not to.
Hasn’t worked for 2 years.
Has had plastic surgery.

I find that highly suspect. You would think she would have mentioned at least something to her fiance long before Friday (11/4/2011)!

Angry residents rap soundproofing plans

For the 200 or so residents who filled every seat in City Council chambers and stood in the aisles for a chance to air their airport grievances, Chicago’s plans to soundproof some Des Plaines residences offer far too little, way too few, much too late.
“I’m 70 years old now, and I can’t wait much longer for noise relief,” said Chester Bialek , 2083 Fox Lane. “If you can’t soundproof my home soon, will you put some sod on my grave?”

Why didn't Bialek come forward 12 years ago if she thought it was her duty?
I feel sorry for her father... She didn’t even tell him she was planning on telling? No heads-up at all???
VERY poor choice of words - he was “dazzled” by the press conference? I’m sorry, but if my daughter all of a sudden showed up on camera professing to have been sexually assaulted I would be DEVASTATED - even if she WAS an adult. I would also be asking her why she didn’t come to me, or even tell me once she decided to go public! I would be so incredibly upset that she endured something like that, not to mention ANGRY at the man who (allegedly) perpetrated this crime against her! I wouldn’t be “dazzled” by it all, much less would I be giving out interviews to the press.
Then his comment about having numerous jobs, and “some problems”, but then claims he doesn’t want to get “too personal”??? Seriously? She already passed the “personal” line when she came out publicly giving detail as to what allegedly happened. Granted, it’s not the father’s job to comment, or reveal any information about her, but perhaps if he even KNEW of this allegedly happening he would have already known he shouldn’t answer questions from the media. (Can’t believe Allred didn’t mention THAT to her client! But, then who says Gloria cares what happens to this woman as long as she destroys a conservative...).
