Christians should stand by Israel.

I agree, but Christians and the federal government are very different things.

And just what exactly is it they have done for us that warrants such undying gratitude? Do they deserve more than say, Taiwan?

Christianity has about as much in common with them as it has with Islam. Which is to say, NONE, since they clearly reject the Word and the Savior described within.

Well when there’s an incoming to the USA from Iran, I wonder if you would have wished we had a strong defense system in play.

I also believe that Paul advocates open borders so maybe the incoming will be coming from some platform in Texas or Arizona.

I like his ideas on cutting spending, lowering taxes and returning rights to the States. But to cut the defense budget defies our Constitutional Right to protect and defend the Country.

Sometimes I think Paul partakes in a little of that loco weed that tinkers with part of his brain.

"I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate..."

Including legalizing heroin.

Jesus never advocated using government coercion to force non-Christians to act like Christians. It's expensive, and it does more harm than good.

No, Ron Paul isn’t open borders. But he doesn’t want to spend more money, and I think that includes a fence.

He thinks the welfare system is a magnet, and wants to shut that magnet down.

I just think that we spend way too much money. I don’t think we need to spend so much money overseas. I’m really more concerned about how much money the government spends on everything including foreign policy than any possible risk.

Simple cost/benefit analysis, and I see huge huge costs that I would want to cut, and the benefits we get for spending all that money are really hard to see.

We have serious serious economic problems caused by spending too much money.

No, Ron Paul has the pure, conservative, tea party position here.

Limited
Constitutional
Government

Where in the Constitution does it say the Fed Gov can do anything like what it’s doing in the War On Drugs.

The ideologically correct tea party position is that the states should decide what to do. No state would legalize heroin. Whoever makes Oxycontin would make sure of that.

If Ron Paul wanted to force states to legalize these drugs, that’s the Libertarian position.

Allowing the states to decide is the Conservative position.

The Big Federal Government position is what we have now.

You must be one of those Big Government Conservatives that most certainly is not Tea Party.

>Well when there's an incoming to the USA from Iran, I wonder if you would have wished we had a strong defense system in play.

Iran poses almost no military threat to the United States.

>I also believe that Paul advocates open borders...

Not so:

>But to cut the defense budget defies our Constitutional Right to protect and defend the Country.

That's absurd.

Iran is incapable of doing any military harm to the US.

Google Straits of Hormuz sometime and get back to us...

Not “to our military interests in the gulf”, but to the United States itself.

If we have a ton of ships where they shouldn’t be, costing a ton of money we don’t have, bring them home.

That's a great example of a place where our aggressive military posture is increasing international tensions. The Revolutionary Guard threatened to seal off the strait only if Israel or the United States attacked Iran.

Please try to see this from their perspective. How would we react if they had warships patrolling our coasts?

The US Navy is the smallest it has been in decades.

You are exactly right sir. Ron Paul has received more donations from active military personnel than all other GOP candidates combined.

Our current “foreign policy” is a joke. Endless wars that bankrupt our nation and kill our best men and women. And now Iran? The rich get richer and the rest of us suffer.

Ron Paul is the only solution to the continuous decline of our country since 1913.

Does he think states should be left alone to determine life/death/murder/crime issues? NO!

He “show his hand” by the importance he places on legalizing drugs.

PROOF: HE AND BARNEY FRANK AUTHORED A BILL IN THE LAST SESSION TO LEGALIZE DRUGS AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.

Nice try, now go smoke your pot somewhere else. You can’t fool a conservative with the truth.
