JoePa is going down for this.....while he did report it to the AD, he was in a position to do a lot more to prevent further incidents from happening......there is no way now he can possibly return next season.

If I read the timeline right, didn’t he report it ten years ago? If so, didn’t he wonder why nothing was done? As a college head coach, he has to keep track of hundreds of things at once. I doubt he just forgot about it.

The news story here is the coverup and how long the Penn State “machine” kept it in operation.

Don't be a moron. Paterno immediately informed the proper authorities at Penn State after he was told by an assistant that he had witnessed inappropriate behavior by Sandusky in a locker room. That was in 2002, three years AFTER Sandusky had retired and was no longer involved in the football program. Paterno knew of nothing else regarding Sandusky's behavior except for that one allegation.
