Don’t forget Romney wiped the floor with McCain last time in Michigan in an early primary Jan. 15th, the first big state. And that was pretty much it for Romeny when it came to delegates.
He was born here and his father was a popular governor here years ago.
Next year our primary is Feb. 28th, still early.
MI hasn’t been important in a POTUS election since Bush Sr. won.
Only reason I’m pointing this out is that MI has swung totally red, no democrat holds any power beyond county.
The MI GOP has the governorship, the legislature, the senate, the state supreme court, attorney general, sec. of state and on down the list and a lot of people haven’t realized this yet-
Fat Deb Stabacow has not much of a chance - just as WI turned out Feingold and elected Scott Walker the entire upper Midwest has gone completely red, except IL of course.
If Romney does NOT win MI it is the end of his campaign and he knows it.
