The last poll I heard on the radio during commute had Cain even with Romney, who had at one point, had an overwhelming lead against everyone else. If Romney loses Michigan, he's toast.

There are plenty of reasons to not vote for Romney in a primary, but the instant disqualifier beyond the muck was for me is that he stuck his nose in the governor’s race, and lost.

It’s not that he endorsed Hoekstra who is popular on the west side of MI as you know, but he should have stayed out of it.

Hoekstra should not have accepted that endorsement or kept quiet because now we really need Hoekstra to knock off Fat Deb for senator in a really bad way in a job much more suited for him, but he’s dirtied by Romney now.

But it may not matter, it will be the upper Midwest that turns the Kenyan out and maybe we can gain some national respect for a change.
