Sounds like those Russian spies are coming in from the cold.
“These guys are filling shopping carts before darting out of the store? And you’re just standing there?!”
Liberals have made it much too risky for loss prevention to physically restrain or prevent this sort of theft and the criminals know every angle. They have utube videos and web sites where they share their tips for getting away with it.
Most of the time they are organized like flash mobs to create distractions.
Loss prevention risks injury and losing their jobs if they make a mistake. If they do manage to get an arrest, the criminal is back on the street before the ink is dry on the report. Since they are stealing from companies with deep pockets they are also fishing for law suit material.
Don’t blame the retailers, it’s liberal society that sets amoral thugs to pillage and looks the other way.
That’s not the TSP you are looking for.
I was looking for this at the local Lowe's, Home Depot and Menards just a few weeks ago as I use TSP to clean walls prior to painting.
None of the three had it on their shelves, the Home Depot near me told me it's not sold anymore due to EPA regulations. If you have a "source" near you, can I paypal you some money to get it and ship it to me?
Even Google Product Search show’s it’s not available anywhere near me. But then, I can buy it online or drive 55 miles to the nearest retailer that still sells it (sigh, this government is making it so hard to do anything these days. What used to be a simple trip to the local Ace Hardware now requires an internet investigation!)
Check neighborhood hardware stores, Sears, paint stores, farm & ranch stores. It’s still around. It can be purchased online too.
Understood.
Where IS the TSP I'm looking for available?
This "Home Depot has it" line has been around for a long time here but it isn't true.
I think I found a small quantity at an ACE h/w (in paint).
Farm supply stores are likely to have it, it is used to clean dairy equipment. Also used to clean pipe fittings when assembling oxygen and breathing air systems, so plumbing supply houses are another possibility.

Home Depot has the real TSP tri-sodium phosphate and the substitute kind (eco friendly who knows?)
I have been buying it at Lowes for a while, but that could end at any time.
Last time I bought some at Lowes, the real stuff in the red boxes was way up on the top shelf, and I had to get a clerk to get it down for me. The fake TSP in the yellow boxes was within arm's reach.
Also, you can buy Cascade dishwasher detergent with the phosphate still in it at janitorial or restaurant supply stores. The commercial products are exempt from the phosphate ban.
“I guess Tide is the new cocaine. “
Actually it was Ajax:

They track using RFID and unique smart codes.. I saw something on CNBC recently and they went into the methods they used. From what I remember, they were interviewing Target and Walgreen loss prevention teams and they didn’t reveal much.
I get FREE Tide with coupons. Plus I have a whole bunch more Tide coupons good for the rest of this month and will figure a way to get even more FREE Tide.
I’m waiting for Tsunami to be marketed. That’ll be the good stuff.
Try Lowe’s; that’s where I got mine.
I was aware that Home Depot sells it. Can’t purchase online. Home Depot does not sell TSP in CT. Will take a drive up to West Springfield MA to purchase. Thanks for the info on how much to add to a wash cycle.
