Wasn’t it Reagan’s 11th commandment not to do so. I’m expecting a very civil conversation of issues. I think both men respect each other which may bring out the best of both of them.

Seems to be the conventional wisdom since the debate was announced, so I'll call it for Cain, the unconventional candidate.

Just a post-event observation: Cain held his own. Gingrich was as good as expected on policy details and professorial "I bet you have never thought about it in this way before so let me blow your mind with a brilliant insight that makes my point obvious and unarguable to the whole world, HA!" moments; Cain demonstrated a serious mind and a mature character at complete confidence to be on the same stage. So, no wreckage.
