Republican 2012 presidential candidates Republican 2012 presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich met in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate on current economic and social issues facing the U.S.

So it's my fault for not reading the plain meaning of your telepathic thoughts? Perhaps you should have communicated those thoughts more clearly in the words you actually said.
You seem to have that in common with Rick Perry.
you didn’t see the debate I did.
You’re just heartless windy...heartless...
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
The BIG loser in tonight's debate ...........Steve King
Is that you, Mitt?
I love the fact that you’ve acknowledged he’s a crouton, I just invented it 3 days ago, but its applicable to Perry. Tiny little toasted pieces of bread, non viable in any sense.
My pinger is broke
deadly force? Well there a number of barriers unless we declare war.
As to benefits for illegals I do not support that
Rick Perry does not support that.
The Federal Gov has given the border states an untenable position and the Texas Legislature almost unanimously decided a decade ago that it was to our benefit to make the kids that want to be citizens educated taxpayers.
I’m more concerned with Newt calling Paul Ryan’s plan “right-wing social engineering” just a few months ago. I know there was likely a wonky-wonky explanation for what he said . . . but still.
I do believe they soiled their diapers.

I am not suggesting I’m against Newt on the ticket. Only saying he, um, gets ahead of himself sometimes.
I think a Cain/Gingrich ticket could be fantastic!
I'll bet he's teared up a few times over the last few weeks about what he's done to his own campaign.
And All Americans are first in line for Texas in state tuition, all you need to do is move to Texas and work here for a year.
The people you are worried about need to prove much more.
I know, wasn’t it funny how easily it was for the electorate to understand that Perry was a winkle. Didn’t take anytime at all, and no money. Perry failed because everyone except swooning perrywinkles could see the fake bastard for what he is.
Liar. Perry, Tuition, Done.

Sure, I believe in a border. And equating a peaceful border with a friendly country to the perimeter of a military base is stupid. We have armed guards at military bases in our own country, and you could get shot trying to break into them.
The term invading does not properly describe a person sneaking into a country to try to get a job. I know why you use it, because it allows you to dehumanize the people you want to kill, and to pretend they are some imminent threat.
I am all for shooting armed gunmen coming into our country. But until we declare war with Mexico, we cant be shooting unarmed civilians who trespass. Trespass is the proper term for crossing into land you are not authorized to occupy.
There are a lot of things you can do that are illegal. Do you claim that all illegal acts should be punishable by death? If not, your argument that crossing the border is illegal is meaningless to the discussion. I havent said that crossing the border isnt illegal thats what trespassing is, an illegal act. Ive argued that it is not a capital offense. You argue that it is, but give no reason, or justification, or moral backing to your outlandish claim.
Do you support Iran killing American citizens who are caught illegally in their country?
I dont understand how people can be so cavalier about ending a life. do you know she is unarmed? WHo really cares if she is armed, if she isnt threatening to kill anybody, is carring a gun a capital offense now? I was just pointing out one example of the type of person you seemed to be saying should have their life ended because they crossed our border.
If you sailed into mexican waters, would you expect them to blow up your boat? Would it be OK for them to do so?
You havent seemed to be able to come out and say it, so Ill ask again are you saying that if I find an illegal immigrant at the 7-11, I should have the right to shoot them dead?
What exactly ARE you arguing for here? Are you arguing that people who dont belong in our country deserve death, and we should kill them? Of only if we catch them AT the border?
I realize that Cains electric killer fence would require them to take a stupid act to get killed. But thats not your argument you have repeatedly challenged others to explain to you why we cant just kill people for entering our country illegally.
My bet is that doing so violates international treaties, as well as basic morality and human decency, and the respect for human life.
No. In MY perfect world, the Mexican border would be like the Canadian border, enforced but not walled off, and where people cross all the time and are detained, questioned and sent back with a warning, not killed and strung up as examples.

Norm Lenhart to mylife
You said it was complicated. I didnt ask you on a date, I asked if you believe deadly force in defense of the border is acceptable? Yes or no?
And
Then answer this one. Is a border something America should have?
There is nothing complicated about either. It should be simple for an American who loves their country to answer. I am sick to death of self proclaimed conservatives on a conservative web forum acting like liberals and you ARE acting JUST like a liberal by ducking a serious and simple question about the national security of your country.
If you do not believe we should protect our border as the Constitution says, and that includes use of deadly force, then what does that say about you?

As you can see, Mylife, you and I have been down this road before. You didn’t answer it then and you are playing games now.
As all good liberals do.
Perry or Mitt would be McCain 2008 redux.
What are you gonna do? Squeal on me?
My bad...one cut post too many.
