I hope you are not referring to AR as a vet ...
Wasn’t he a war correspondent and enlisted? My dad’s death caused me to notice these passings more?
I guess I am. Unless you can explain how he is not.
” He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1941, and began writing for the Stars and Stripes in London a year later. In 1943, he was one of seven correspondents who flew on the second American bombing raid over Germany, and later was one of the first American journalists to visit and write about the German concentration camps.”
Cram it, noob. Cram it twice if you haven't served in the military.
Andy Rooney was an atheist, liberal jerk but he signed up and flew over Germany, so as an Air Force vet I say he's our atheist, liberal jerk and you should shut your piehole unless you have more combat time than him. You should also consider that he said that after seeing the concentration camps he became deeply ashamed of his pacifism. We'll see if you have enough character to express shame for slandering a man who probably did more for America as a lefty pacifist than you've done as a conservative.
