Give it up, he’s INDEFENSIBLE on this stunt. We all know this will lead to a HUGE general amnesty.

It's work visas for the millions and millions of illegal aliens who've come into this nation illegally since the Simpson-Mazzoli amnesty of 1986.

And, NO, countries do not do that the world over.

Not in the millions and not without tightly controlled restrictions. Perry has just promised a free pass to citizenship to lawbreakers that shouldn't be here in the first place. To HELL with that.

We issue thousands of legal work visas to aliens who go through the legal petition and visa process.

Millions of work visas to illegal aliens already in the country, however, that relieve them of their need to depart the USA constitute a type of Amnesty.

Amnesties seem popular among stupid politicians. D students John McCain, Ted Kennedy and Ricky Perry all support such schemes. Perhaps because of limited reasoning powers, they cannot think beyond anecdotal tales of this or that hard-working illegal “who just wants a better life”, and cannot see the consequences of de-facto merging our homeland with the third world. Hence idiot statements about “having a heart” instead of serious policies.

Yes, that's right, to those who enter their countries legally.
Wonder what those countries do if you enter illegally and then try to get a work visa ?

Nice try supporting La Raza Perry, but it was a failed attempted.

This country used to have a work program for mexicans, they were called Brasseros. It didn't work, all it did was open the door for thousands, and eventually millions, of illegals to come streaming into the country with everyone assuming they had a work permit. It took jobs away from American migrant workers(look it up)and the only ones who benefited were farmers who were able to have virtual slaves for less than minimum wage and they treated the workers like dirt. The program was finally ended but many people today don't remember it so they think it would be a good idea to do it again.

Perry is a total idiot for saying and advocating this. I am sure he must remember, or at least be aware of, the old Brasseros program.
