The panelists on Fox Newss The Five couldnt decide what drug Rick Perry was on when he gave his widely publicized off-kilter speech in New Hampshire.
That reminded me when I take an Ambien on a plane and have a scotch, Greg Gutfeld exclaimed, suggesting Perry had some drinks to loosen up as Joe Scarborough had suggested. The difference between the right and the left is the left says crazy stuff when theyre sober. Id rather have a drunk Perry than a sober Obama.
That looked more like shrooms! Bob Beckel chimed in. Dana Perino defended the Texas Governor, saying he just got a little excited.
Its possible he was overcompensating and trying not to be stiff, Perino argued. He was having a good time with the audience.
One rule of the presidential politics that always used to scare me whenever a candidate gives a speech to a crowd thats with him, explained Beckel. When you go to your friends and you give speeches, you have a tendency to get out and say things you wouldnt normally say.

Eric Bolling was visibly irritated by the speculation that Perry was under the influence of some drug, saying that too much was being made of his demeanor.
You guys dont like him when hes quiet, you dont like him when hes happy, Bolling scolded. He went out and look, there is no indication he was there was no proof he was drinking, had drugs! Did anyone take apart what he said?
He looked unstable! Andrea Tantaros added.
I HATE AMBIEN! Brought back the sleepwalking I thought I’d outgrown in my early Twenties. Almost burnt my house down “sleepcooking!” Have read police reports of people “sleepdriving!” If you’ve ever had a problem with somnambulism, DON’T TAKE AMBIEN!

beckel would know.
Having said that, the LIB MEDIA WOULD GIVE OBAMA A COMPLETE PASS ON THIS, "THE VIEW" TYPE WOMEN WOULD BE FAWNING AT HIS FEET, KISSING THE SOLES OF HIS SANDALS. ALL HAIL CAESAR OBAMUS!
I prefer Lunesta. I use to get over jet-lag when travelling overseas. Never take it on the plane though - only at bedtime at destination!!
Gutfeld (and Red Eye) is the best thing on Fox.
New patients on this stuff really should have somebody around the first few nights to make sure they don’t get up and do stuff half awake, but clumsily enough to put themselves in danger.
I shudder to think what mixing it with Scotch would do. I’ve never been that stupid. In less severe cases, a patient will engage in activities after taking the pill and forget about the activities until something reminds him later (like getting up the next morning and seeing a bowl he ate from the previous night in the sink).
Maybe Perry took a Valium or two.
I took Ambien once. Never again. No sleepwalking, but to this day I cannot remember several hours of that evening prior to taking it. I don’t even remember what I had for dinner that night. I also don’t remember falling asleep. I felt a little lightheaded and then *poof*, it was nine hours later.
They ought to call the stuff AmbiRoofies.
I went to bed at my usual time, 10:00, a few days ago. A buddy called me at 11:30. I answered the phone. I was apparently on my computer, but sound asleep! He said that I repeated every sentence three times. I have no memory of his call. I was wondering why I found food out in the mornings. 4 spoons in a yogurt container. Evidently, I can’t take a half Ativan either. My Doc says I’m an amazing case!
I love Red Eye! I almost sent somebody a text the other day explaining how they were having the robots read the mail, then I thought, nah, they won’t get it...
I’ve talked to my Doc about this issue. He’s not listening! Seems to want to believe the company bs over my personal experience. He’s a good Doc, so I won’t drop him. He’ll figure it put eventually.
I’ve heard of cases of “sleep Taco Bell”...waking up with wrappers all over the bed.
...and now Perry says that speech is TYPICAL.
So he gets ripped before he speaks - yea, great candidate!!
Doctor said nothing about how GD dangerous that crap is.
I took every night for 8 days (bad time, father died).
Day 4 or 5 I had this incredible dry mouth but didn't make the connection.
On day 8 I told my wife who said it's an Ambien side effect.
OK, I said, no more Ambien.
That night was the worst night of my life, night terrors, crazy incredibly vivid dreams with people screaming at me , a sky full of bombers flying overhead.
I woke up in a cold sweat and googled Ambien withdrawal.
That stuff is as bad as Heroin.
Be careful. I thought sleepwalking warnings were in the patient drug literature by now.
I heard where once they woke up a person who was believed to be in a vegetative coma by giving him one of these pills in his feeding tube. They had hoped to calm down his spasms, but they got a very much aware, talking patient in a few minutes. The doctor, family, nurses were all stunned.
Warnings may be there now. My problem happened several years ago.
