Check out the Facebook page for Men's Wearhouse, whose Oakland store closed for one day out of support for the Occupy Movement. From what I understand, the store was not looted but they may well have lost a lot of customers. Who shops at MW anyway, hippies or hard working capitalists? Join the fun.
I’ve never even heard of them before. This was not a good way to introduce me to their brand.
# 23..Mao’s Wherehouse
Just called....and told them I wouldn’t be shopping there anymore.
Less expensive than Mens Warehouse anyways ... bought 3 suits, had them tailored, and still came out under $300 last month.
LOL!
“Get ready to close some more, for more than one day to show solidarity with wealth being spent somewhere else.”
Agreed.
And hopefully it won’t be too soon that the owner is off the air with his commercials. He sounds like a smoker or an ex-smoker. His voice is worse than fingernails on the chalkboard or hearing Janeane Garofalo speak.
I mentioned before the small mexican restaurant in my hometown. They were closed several years ago on the day that all the illegals protested. Their business dropped off considerably and I think they closed - I guess they forgot that many people they inconvenienced had supported them in the past. Ungrateful ingrates.
I sent corporate a message, they would of been better off teaching the fleabaggers how to dress for success
We have a major infection of limo-communist “business” people these days. It is why the economy is crashing.
From Men’s Warehouse Wikipedia article:
The company operates under the names Men’s Wearhouse, K&G Superstores (an off-price retail chain featuring discontinued items), Moores Clothing for Men (a Canadian chain of men’s clothing stores), and Twin Hill Corporate apparel.
Act accordingly.
Great map.
BTW I cancelled my MW credit card this afternoon.

This clinches it. Posted on their store is “We Stand With The 99%”.

I think a comment on HotAir.com said they are all owned by Zimmer.
Thanks for the info.
bttt..... F Men’s Warehouse. Zero conservative dollars for them.
