PJM Sources Report Details of Alleged Cain Incident
PJMedia ^ | November 3, 2011 | Richard Pollock

Posted on 11/03/2011 10:04:50 AM PDT by bbernard

Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged “he had taken advantage of me.”

One source, a male, told PJ Media:

Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.

Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:

Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.

The name of the woman — who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident — has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.

Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time — mid-1990s — for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

And in three days Cain has raised upwards of $1m and has now surged ahead of Romney in the Rasmussen poll. LOL. Keep it up Rino/libs.

—The naysayers need to get real. If this happened to one of their daughters they wouldn’t call it sexual harassment. They’d call it rape. —

I have three adult daughters in their 20’s. I would be none of the things above. I’d be disappointed in my daughter unless claims of threats or violence were made.

Are we all losing sight of the fact that this story is completely different from the one her lawyer was telling just a day ago??

That's because this is a third woman. She didn't file a complaint and didn't ask for or get a settlement. People need to hold off until all the facts are out on all of these. The National Restaurant Association has been asked to give their consent for the 2 women to come out and defend themselves and has promised to have an answer by tomorrow.

They continue to want to hide behind their allegations. They know they will be scrutinized.

No..they know there's another pay off coming to keep them from doing so...and money to be made for all who are spinning and wading in these waters...it's not going to die out soon...too many making money off it. Including Cain.

That guy in Louisiana just got out of federal prison because he was lacking in character and integrity. People who think the rules don’t apply to them do get caught.

Don’t think Gingrich will get a pass either. He’s really not been polling high enough to be on the radar. His serial adultery will be used against him. If he would pull out a primary win, you better believe the 0bama campaign will using it.

Gingrich has at least two past affairs.

The irony of this is if this sinks Cain, the candidate that polls show would benefit the most would be...Newt Gingrich.

“At the bottom of the new version:

(CORRECTIONS: A previous version of this story mentioned that a source witnessed Cain and the woman entering a taxi together. This was incorrect.

The previous version also mentioned that the woman awoke in Cain’s bed — the source only claimed that the woman awoke in Cain’s apartment.

The previous version incorrectly attributed comments from one source to the other source.)”

—Unbelievable!! Now they’re taking out the other part about the witness seeing Cain and a woman in the taxi??!! What the h-ll is going on here?!

All kidding aside, every single one of us should be here fighting against this obvious smear attempt.

Whether or not we have chosen a candidate, or whether we are still observing and haven't decided, this blatant character assassination with NO evidence to support it should have everyone on FR up in arms.

I'm disappointed that, just because some have already chosen someone else, that they're going along with this smear.

I’d be disappointed in my daughter unless claims of threats or violence were made.

Something can be extremely inappropriate/unethical without any threats or violence.

This is playing out like the golfer guy...more and more stepping out to have a say and make money by doing so...attorneys are behind a lot of this now as we’ll see the ambulance chasers seeing a good thing for a payoff.

I agree that is definitely ironic.

Goes to show that it’s better to out your own skeletons years before any kind of run for public office.

I was referring to current US Senator David Vitter (R-LA)not former Rep. William “Cold Cash” Jefferson (D-LA), since we were talking about Republicans and infidelity.

Cain’s not an idiot but he is a man. As such, when accusations of sexual impropriety were made he knew his disadvantage and settled to avoid damage to reputation. Very understandable and explainable. But Cain’s seeming inability to shut down the talk with clear explanation and straight answers speaks to a bigger, more tragic truth. He doesn’t want this tale told! He would rather not do what needs be done to clear his name or, more likely, it can’t be cleared and he knows it! Either way his character suffers a fatal wound. If he won’t fight unjust accusation or own up to indiscretion he’s not a man I can champion for president.
I’m afraid he’s toast!

That's not true...most, who find this important to them, are looking for the truth....but we will never know that...as I said Caine's also making money in this as are the gals, attorneys and media...they will not let it rest until the cow is milked dry.

But Cain is not helping his situation...he needed to shut his mouth, the fact he contiues to feed it is telling.
