More Guns Provided Through Fast and Furious Found in Arizona Raid
Townhall ^ | 11/2/2011 | Katie Pavlich

Since finding out about Operation Fast and Furious, Arizona Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu has been anything but amused. With no regard for local law enforcement, the Obama Justice Department supplied the most dangerous criminals in North America with high powered weapons, including .50-calibur sniper rifles and AK-47s, leading to the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and at least 200 innocent Mexican citizens. Now with the Southern border still wide open, Babeu and his deputies will face the barrels of those guns as they do their job to combat Mexican drug cartels illegally operating in Arizona.

Today, Babeu's office confirmed two guns found during a massive drug smuggling bust against the Sinaloa Cartel in Pinal County, were provided through Operation Fast and Furious.

"I am outraged our Federal Government has armed one of the largest and most dangerous of the Mexican drug cartels with as many as 2,000 high powered weapons.  This is the same cartel we have been investigating for the past fifteen months for various crimes including a murder in my County.  We have arrested 76 suspects and seized 108 weapons.  We have now have learned two of the weapons we seized are in fact linked to Operation Fast and Furious. U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was only doing his job when he was viciously murdered by Mexican bandits with Fast and Furious weapons.  Thankfully none of our members were murdered this time," Babeu tells Townhall.

I sat down with Sheriff Babeu in September when he warned of this very situation, noting that guns will be recovered at violent crime scenes for years to come.

“It’s not going to end, there are at least 1500 guns out there and we have no clue where they are,” Babeu said.

While Sheriff Babeu and his deputies are doing their best to fight these cartels with limited resources, the Obama Justice Department has been arming the enemy with weapons Babeu’s deputies don’t even have.

“Outrage and betrayal. This has never happened before in the history of our country. We may have given armaments and weapons to our allies who may have later become our enemy, but we’ve never given them directly to our enemy,” Babeu said when asked about his initial reaction to Operation Fast and Furious.

“These are the most violent criminals in North America and we facilitated and gave weapons, weapons that my deputies don’t even have, to these cartels,” he said. “It’s more than insane, it is horrific to think that our own government did this.”

And the lack of media truthful reporting shouts of kneepad complicity from the propaganda arm of the criminal enterprise party.

Obama and his administration need to be impeached and brought up on charges of illegal gun running, violation of US and Mexican and international law, murder, murder of a federal agent, etc.

Clinton couldn't be removed after he got money from the Chicoms and those Chicom satellites into orbit! That was intercontinental ballistic missile technology in a nutshell.

We can't impeach a rat president again unless we know that we have the necessary two third's vote in the Senate to remove any president from office! If nothing else, Clinton proved that. Ask Newt Gingrich.

Cabinet officers have not yet been proven to be so immune. The various states can hold their senators to account for not removing those who can't uphold their oaths to the Constitution.

He can be arrested for crimes. MUCH Better IMHO. Takes the politics down a step. Sure they can say it was politically motivated - but it takes the decision making process of guilt or innocence out of politics and into a jury of 12.

Who's arresting and prosecuting the Attorney General? That won't happen until a new administration and a new Attorney General, IMHO.

Then there is the probability of jury nullification with blacks on the jury if Holder was prosecuted.

The best Holder will get from American justice is extradiction to Mexico, I'm sad to say.

Just making a point. People are talking about impeachment of holder. Arrest is a more suitable way to go actually.
He could be arrested in any jurisdiction that any superior court / DA had the guts to do it in.

I bet that you could find 12 good citizens in Arizona or Texas to convict him.

The laws broken include but are not limited to:

violations of the 1968 GCA, violations of the Brady law, violations of ITAR, conspiracy to commit multiple felonies including conspiracy to commit murder, numerous RICO violations, several international laws on supplying weapons to known criminal organizations, committing an act of war with a neighboring nation, supplying arms to known prohibited persons, international smuggling, treason, violations of citizens 2nd and 4th Amendment Rights, and reckless endangerment of the lives of American and Mexican citizens.

Scary thing is, I’m betting the smuggling is still ongoing and they are hoping the smoke screen holds strong.

There had better be repeals of some gun control laws because of this crap. The Government MUST surrender some power and control over guns as a punitive measure. Nothing less will be acceptable.

I would imagine the list could include State criminal violations. Such as, since they were complicit in the murders they can be charged with murder.

...all of which will be wiped away by a preemptive presidential pardon. “Whatever he did, he did in good faith. Charges, past present & future, dismissed.”

Which is why this MUST be taken to the top.
