The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 20% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -22. For the full month of October, the presidents Approval Index rating fell to the lowest level yet measured for this president. Just 17% now believe the U.S. is generally heading in the right direction . . . Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's job performance. Fifty-five percent (55%) at least somewhat disapprove.

Not yet in the Abyss, but stead at an even lower level of socialist approval.
BTTT
I’d like to see what his approval numbers are among men...I’d bet that figure is in the 30’s; if not lower.
Among MEN, it is ZERO. Among males, who knows?
Yup. I’d like to see him dwelling in the -25 range by January...about the time many people start to wake up and realize there’s an election “this year”.
Rasmussen has the numbers wrong on their approval index history as of around noon (which is why RCP has the number wrong too). The poll shows 44% approve, but Rasmussen’s approval index chart and RCP show 46% approve.
Now this is making more sense, obama’s team leaking the rumor (by Emanuel (sp) ) and blaming on the Perry campaign. Obamas team is very afraid of Cain.
I like how you think... :-)
No bump from the Occupiers? Could it be they see him as part of the problem? Not that I give a rip...
How much longer until his party dumps Zero.
It will also coincide with receiving credit card statements with Christmas shopping expenses loaded on it.
see this interesting info from Ras:
For the full month of October, the presidents Approval Index rating fell to the lowest level yet measured for this president.
We thought that last year’s credit card bills would drive his ratings to new lows in January of this year. Didn’t happen.
It depends on who the pubbies nominate. If Mitt wins the early primaries, the dump Obama can gets kicked down the road. If Cain wins some of the early primaries, you'll first see the media covering all sorts of Obama stories with the real truths (Solyndra and other green company loans, Gunwalker, Stimulus II instead of "the jobs bill", real unemployment figures, open season on disclosing poverty data and stories, etc.
The Dem party will then get someone to run against him by February. When Obama realizes he's toast, he'll then make up some sort of excuse to not run (blaming others of course).
If Cain wins some early primaries, I'd take valentine's day in the pool for a Dem challenger to be announced.
Guess Politico et al will have to look elsewhere for the ‘bounce’ they were trumpeting earlier this week.
This is beginning to look like another Nixon moment of 68.
The 17% are dumber than zombies.
Actually, the overall A/D was corrected to 46/52, a 5% point upswing.
