Wondered why that page looked tall and skinny on my 15” MacBook Pro. It was a mobile page! :)

No problem here; the Methodistas don’t pay much attention to them, anyways... they’re too busy cuddling up to the tenets of poopshootery.

You know the words to that old Jim Croce song come to mind, “You don’t spit into the wind, you don’t pull on Superman’s cape, you don’t pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger and you don’t mess around with...” God.

You don't tug on Superman's cape,
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off that ol' Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Jim.

You Don't Mess Around With Jim

Sorry to hit your hot button, OM, but during my youth I spent 2 happy years in the Methodist church. I’m now in my late ‘60s. On a recent visit, the sermon was by a female pastor. First, she identified herself as being gay (as if that had much bearing on the Gospel at hand). Then, she talked of getting all teary-eyed when attending a gay-pride parade. Well, I get teary-eyed, too, but not for the same reason. We lost three good family friends and two co-workers - all gay males - to AIDS. The first two deaths were at the start of the AIDS crisis. They were unbelievably horrible.

I stand by my statement.
