Fifty-five years of blood, toil, sweat, money, and lives and Obama ended our space program because it “wasn’t diverse enough.” The Chinese have set a goal of beginning a Moon base in 2026.

And a whole lot more. We best stop sleepwalking into catastrophe.

Ok... so the Chinese and the Russians are in space, and the US is grounded.
How is this not an issue of national security?

The whole idea of the hope and inspiration that comes from a country's dreams of a new frontier and boundless opportunities is lost on modern America. Obama is all about redistribution of a shrinking pie. The Chinese are on the way up and who knows where it might lead them and what intangible benefits it might spin off.

Thank you, Bill Clinton, Bernie Schwartz, and the Loral Corporation for helping China overcome its staging programs and get a craft into orbit.

I dont blame them. Good for the Chinese for stepping up where we dithered.
It’s not like we were ever serious since 1974.

Why is China wasting their money and talent on dumb things like space exploration?
Our own NASA does the really important job of m0slim outreach instead of bothering with space, ain’t that right Barry?
