I was for Palin long before Perry considered running: and then a bunch of Perrywinkles showed up ; and for many of them, despite the 1998-1999 signups, I never recall even having *seen* their screen names before, until a bunch showed up en masse to (let's be honest) blog-pimp and spam Perry all over FR.
And a goodly number of them have been called out and/or banned: and a goodly number engaged in creating fights and dissension and name calling, and ad hominem in response to policy criticisms of Rick.
Not buying your argument for misdirection for a second.
Look earlier in the thread where someone said "this anti-Cain story has Gingrich's fingerprints all over it."
THAT's the mark of a lying sack of scum operative: trash one of your opponents, then point the finger at ANOTHER opponent for causing it.
Cain has spent his time until Polllutico pressing 9-9-9 to the point that other people were making fun of him for saying nothing else: he most pointedly was NOT attacking or backstabbing any other GOP candidate.
Funny how, like Palin, nobody else in the GOP is rushing to defend him when he is accused.
Makes you wonder.
