I’d say Cain is probably looking at a lawsuit or at least a threat of one if he can’t back this up. Those are pretty serious charges. (Although I suspect that Perry probably won’t want to get dragged into this - he has enough problems with his own campaign.) But I have thought from day one that Cain’s big problem is that he shoots his mouth off without considering the implications, and also that he seems to believe the campaign is all about him.
No, it’s not: It’s about getting an effective, conservative GOP candidate to defeat Obama and get our country back on track again. Now I can honestly say that I do not think Cain is that one.
I’ve been withholding judgment for the last few days, just suggesting that he should have been prepared for this because it’s inevitable that any GOP candidate is going to be virtually strip-searched in public, but accusing a rival campaign of doing this is simply wrong. It shows that Cain is not ready for prime-time.

Don’t look now, but the Perry campaign is now trying to pin this on Romney. I sure hope Perry can back this up:
I consider that less of a political impediment than Perry's...a mouth that can barely work even in a debate.
