Cain thinks it is this guy, Curt Anderson, who leaked details to Politico. Cain recalls briefing Anderson in 2003.

Again, the Perry campaign announced the hiring of Curt Anderson on October 24. Politico contacted the Cain campaign on October 19, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn Politico had been working on the story before October 19. Cain had better have more evidence than timing to back up his claim that this came from the Perry campaign.

When did Curt Anderson work as a board member for the Nation Restaurant Association?

Also Politco first had enough together to ask Cain about it starting October 19. Curt Anderson didn't go to work for Perry until October ~23.
