There were twice the normal donations on Monday to his campaign than usual. He did not do anything different in terms of advertising in that “one day”, this was people standing up for Cain.

Hidden in that sentence is $200k per day normal donations. Is that a paltry daily take? I think not.

I'd say the Rush ads had nothing to do with the influx on Monday.

Lots of people are sick to death with the character assassination of decent conservatives, especially black conservatives. Lots of people have been looking at Cain positively and when this politico garbage came out, it was one way to fight back. (We couldn't do a thing to help Clarence Thomas.....)

I don't think it's going to end either. I think the donations are going to continue to flow the bigger the bullseye gets on Cain's back and the more the left tries to take him down with this kind of absurd smear.
