FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) An Arizona sheriff says that two guns seized as part of a major drug smuggling bust have been connected to a botched federal investigation known as "Fast and Furious."
"Fast and Furious" was a controversial Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms' investigation that lost track of up to 1,400 weapons that were sold in Arizona gun stores to suspected straw buyers for Mexican drug gangs.

The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Have they been involved in murders/homicide/crimes? (How could they not?)
Find out fast and furious.
The pinheads that were running Fast & Furious have a list of serial numbers that way when the Mexicans sent guns that they found at the scene of gun battles they could find out where the guns that they walked went & roughly how many Mexicans got whacked . All the while Mexican authorities were deliberately kept in the dark.
Is there any way the DOJ can prove that these automatic weapons did not make there way into Mexico, injure or kill people then make their way back into Arizona?

Whoa, there!
1400?
Geeeez, I guess they lost the other 800+ even in the news...
Wondered about the big drug bust in AZ and sho ‘nuff! Here we go.
I wasn’t aware that any “automatic” weapons were involved in Fast & Furious. Is that not the case?
My reading leaves me to conclude that the full auto weapons in Mexico come from deserters from the Mexican military and from South America and other sources.
It is illegal in the USA to buy, posses, sell, transport, or even touch an automatic weapon unless you have the Class III firearm license that must accompany the weapon everywhere. To do otherwise would risk severe penalty. One could expect less jail time for armed robbery or murder.
The guns that were sold in this fiasco were completely legal for qualified citizens to purchase across the counter. They were all semi-automatic weapons.
To incorrectly label these weapons as something other than what they are is playing exactly into the reason the feds started this s**t in the first place; these guns are bad, we need tighter regs and possibly outright bans on these bad guns, s/.
AG Holder doesn’t need your help here.
Surprise, surprise.
Has it ever been ascertained if any F&F weapons were used by Jared Loughner when he killed the little girl, the judge and injured Giilbrand (and others injured IIRC)?
