Boy, as I watched that I felt really manipulated. She recovered waaay too quickly for someone who was badly beaten.
I had a hater-child. Never do I trust what kids set up any more.

And did you read in the description how the wife is made out to be totally innocent?
It looks set up.
I prefer to keep my axes so sharp that they literally polish the wood when they cut, so I spent most of a Saturday sharpening and putting new handles in two of them. The very next day, our son and his buddy (without asking) took them out, and, "building a camp house" bashed them into the rocky soil, and one of them broke one of the handles when he "overshot" a log.
I was furious that they had ruined my hard work, but was really disappointed that our son hadn't yet learned to respect other folks' property.
I don't use profanity, or spank, but I did give my son a lengthy military "stand at attention" full-bore "dressing down" on the all subjects involved. Then he wasn't allowed to go anywhere until he had re-sharpened both axe heads to my satisfaction -- without using any power tools... That took several weekends. Then he got to buy a new handle, shave it to fit, and install it.
He told me later that just the look on my face when I first felt those battered edges "nearly scared his britches off". He said he'd never seen me look like that!
We're still the best of friends, and, even at 46, he always ends our TX--MA calls with "Love you, Dad.."

When I hear other parents' "teen tales", I think back on that "worst transgression" -- and realize just how blessed we are as a family!!!
