The man admits to beating her because he’s upset. He physically assaulted her out of anger and spite. That beating had nothing to do with punishment or discipline.
It is just one of the signs. I won’t condemn someone who uses corporal punishment on his child. But it has to be administered with love not out of anger.

2004? That’s amazing video quality for 2004. Hardly a grainy webcam quality one would expect of devices from 7 years ago.
So then leads me to believe it was at least a mini-DV camera mounted on a tripod and perfectly aimed at the right angle to capture the beating - then encoded from tape and uploaded 7 years later.

I’ve got to agree.
This looks like a movie being filmed.
The entire country needs to see this animal and he needs to go to jail.
I am calling the CPS office as well as the Aransas County Attorney tomorrow to make sure they have seen it.
This is NOT Biblical discipline. This is flat out child abuse.
Political affiliation has no bearing on this. For example - a prominent Democrat politician might just walk away from an accident, leaving a young woman drowning in his car.
I want to see this animal in prison, being set upon by other animals. It is what he deserves. I can only imagine what he must have done to his wife too, to make her bad mouth the daughter to deflect from herself - a classic abuse victim strategy. Monster.
That made me ill. I was spanked as a child; palm of hand to the backside once, maybe twice. This was child abuse and the judge needs to plead guilty before a judge for this.
