This condition is well known in the medical community as “Chiefs Syndrome”. Amazing how all these people get fibromyalgia, back pain, stress disorder, reflux and irritable bowel just before retirement.

Most feces that do this (as do most thieves) have rationalized it; they are entitled to it. In the northeast they’ve doomed entire regions with the built-in costs of moving into an area - you’d be paying for so many former employees there is little left for current employees (or sanitation, road maintenance, etc.). They’ve done to towns what retiree costs did to GM.
