Where do you work? Are you off the day after Thanksgiving or the day after that? The Pilgrims celebrated Thanksgiving for three days I believe, so you could always celebrate your thannksgiving a day or so late and that would still be ok. :-)
I work for a poison center.
I’m accustomed to doing it the day before or the day after..
I will miss my family at the big shindig though.
