I don’t know what the Mormon church owns now. But at one time they owned Hotel Utah (Left side Beehive) and Zions Bank.

That reminds me of statue of Brigham Young that was in between the Temple and Zions Bank. The Joke was there is Brigham with his back to the church and his hand out to the bank.
