He gave a very, very strong performance. He was really impressive and it just makes his awkwardness in the debates all the more puzzling. He sat there and took all the questions Wallace could throw at him with aplomb and handled them well, when he gives a speech, he doesn't show any nervousness nor does he appear to be, in either case, grasping for answers.
There is just something about having all of the other folks on the stage that throws him off. I hope he can get his campaign back on track. We certainly need him.

If you look at Perry speaking with groups or one-on-one he is exceptional. The debates are just not his thing. But he will keep doing them.
We are not electing a debater-in-chief, we are electing someone that can fix things. He fits that bill.

Agree, Sudetenland. Rick had a strong performance and looked and acted presidential. Love his responses to lib Wallace’s class warfare questions.

He was really impressive and it just makes his awkwardness in the debates all the more puzzling I think that the one minute given to explain anything is just too short for Perry. Perry is extremely intelligent but if you look closely it take a few precious seconds for his thought process to get started and then the time is up so he speeds and makes mistakes. And when it kicks in, he is right on. These gotcha interviews are pure crap. No doubt Perry is the best for President and, irregardless what anyone thinks, Newt is a giant on Constitution.
