Now I’m really bummed out. No McCainiac or Linda. Perhaps they’re off someplace private enjoying themselves.

Maybe Paul and Axelrod will have a chance to get into it. That could be interesting.

FNS should be interesting—Wallace and his elite establishment RINO masters obviously want “Moderate Mitt” to win the GOP nod.
Their second choice is probably Perry—he is mostly conservative but at least he is in bed with them and thus would be as pliable as any long self-serving professional politician. Rick is their ace in the bull pen.
So does Wallace tear the Tex Gov down or toss him softballs? Mitt can't seem to secure the majority conservative vote no matter how much time and money he spends on the early primary states.
My prediction is FNS will help Perry cause they just can't take a chance that a conservative who is not under their control,like Herman Cain, wins.

Good morning AB, All. Thank you for doing this thread, as always, AB.

I am in Baltimore this morn, where the cars are covered in solid sheets of ice, where a Noreaster went through yesterday during my visit here with daughter and grandkiddle, where I am about to depart for my long trip back to the swamps.

We stayed in yesterday and played games, watched TV, visited grandkiddle.

Anyway, got a story about Sussex county and the swamps that’s funny, tragic, amusing, amazing....I couldn’t make it up.

Daughter uses bandwidth from a neighbor, connection is called THIS IS MY S*IT, DON’T CONNECT TO IT....but she does and knows the password, so let me post.

Poor Chris,

He thinks he won’t be able to figure out which tax plan to use under Perry plan(s).

CW: How can you balance the budget?

RP: Cut spending! [duh!]

Wallace criticizes Perry’s plan to create 2.5 million, says a minimum of 6 million new jobs are needed.

[Hmmmm. I don’t recall Wallace ever criticizing Obama for failing to create that.]

RP: Create an environment with RTO [return on investment].

Wallace can’t get much going, so he asks Perry what he (Perry) thinks of Romney.

==

Perry doesn’t take the bait, talks about differences in policy, rather than personality.

==

Wallace continues with personality questions, trying to get a gotcha or soundbyte.

[Didn’t work. Sorry, Chris. Maybe try again next time.]

Wallace points out that Romney has refused to come on FNS or any of the news programs.

[Wallace had to offer similar admonishments in 2008 to finally get Obama to appear on FNS.]

Aaawwwwww, how cute!

Juan picked up and runs with the “Obama runs against a do-nothing Congress” because Congress hasn’t passed his recent bills.

Even Wallace points out that Obama got most of what he wanted early on — and it was spend, spend, spend.

Liason responds that it would be fruitless for Obama to try to run against Congress.

FNS shows an old tape of Romney claiming global warming IS happening.

FNS then shows a newer tape of Romney claiming global warming is NOT happening.

hahahaha

No wonder Romney won’t appear on any of the news talk programs.

==

Hume says Romney’s flipflops are his biggest single problem.

[I posted in another thread that Romney is becoming the John ‘waffle’ Kerry of 2012.]

Polls show Cain ahead.

[Romney was ahead. Bachmann was ahead. Perry was ahead. Polls are meaningless at this stage of the campaign, or else we would be addressing either President Rudy or President Hillary.]

Are any of the shows talking about Hillary Clinton's private army of 10,000 civilian contractors who will be in Iraq after our military leaves this year?

It seems like the world has forgotten that BlackWater is the peace dividend Love Child of Bill and Hillary when they reduced the size of our standing army from 1.7 million to 1.1 million. Oh, sorry, does that require long-term media memory skills that have not been diluted by mary-g-juana and Doritos?

The Chris Wallace interview, actually grilling , of Rick Perry was tough but for Perry a very good outcome. I think Perry is back in the game with this FOX appearance and that if he continues to be as personable and intellectually agile as he came across to me he will make a good presidential opponent to Obama. Romney may be the establishment choice but it will take a solid conservative House and Senate to keep him on the straight and narrow and that is too iffy to chance. Cain looks good to me as well but I like the Perry governor experience as being more solid for the presidential office. We shall see if Perry remains confident and self assured as he projected this AM.
