He was also nearly a world class fencer, who probably could have made the British Olympic squad, had he been willing to put Iron Maiden on hold. No it is the vav or V sound, nothing close to a W in hebrew, like no G sound. But they got other sounds we don’t have to make up for it.
But no W, that 666 thing just does not work in hebrew.
