October 28, 2011 1:00 P.M. Cain Goes Big His top advisers plot a path to the nomination.
Mark Block and Linda Hansen, Herman Cains senior advisers, tell National Review Online that Cain will soon hold a series of major town-hall meetings in early primary states.
Here we go.
The poster didn't say that Cain was Reagan.
I really don’t think that weird smile thing works, but if it is, keep it.
I hated the smoking ad but it certainly got attention!
Just think “Not on Board” Maybe 1975 vs 2011.
I am actually starting to get excited about this election.
I wasn’t before even liking Cain because I just didn’t see him as a “wow” candidate with a chance of winning.
Though I am still a bit concerned about his organization, he seems to have good people in place and seems to know what to do as he gets more money to spend it effectively. That will be an issue as the other heavyweights of course have more to spend.
This guy is refreshing and really is trying to take this campaign to the people at a level we haven’t seen in awhile. Ala McKinley though of course not from his porch but still largely with the people who actually will vote for him instead of trying to appeal to everybody.
George Wallace and Ronald Reagan did this exactly. They conected with people and PACKED auditoriums. Sarah Palin has it too. One of these were elected President, the other came close to it (shook up the race completely and in one case swept the south), and the other just about became Vice President and has a huge national following. This is what we call the “Big Mo”.
Yep, it works. Cain got a huge bump in his campaign contributions right after the smoking ad started getting buzz. The same people who love the ad love the enigmatic smile. People with money to spend. People who want to spend it on Mr. Herman Cain. :-)
New one on me.
I’m a Cain supporter but I’m also a realist.
He has a long, long way to go before he’s Reagan. At this point, he’s simply being himself, enjoying the ride and putting forth a good message. He’s off to a good start but it’s a long road and it’s got a lot of land mines to avoid.
I can’t spend because I am unemployed thanks to Dear Reader but I will write a check for $9.99. I will volunteer as much as possible to keep the Cain Train moving along.

Tea Party Member Stuns Crowd! ORIGINAL!!!
Still brings misty eyes my way.
Who are the smallest men in the room?
Other presidential historians, familiar with campaigns, strategies, messaging and images, have observed that, about his style. Join the club. Always acquiring new knowledge is exhilarating!
I am sure the federal spending will not triple like it did during 8 years of Reagan. A man coming from business ownership and background knows instinctively that excessive deficits are a killer in the long run.
Cain has taken notes from Palin’s complete and utter confounding of the media over the summer. Good. Now, if only Bachmann would drop out, he’d probably pick up most of her people.
Memo to Cain team: You're not supposed to tell everybody when you plan to paper the house.
I don’t think Cain is gonna skip any debates, he’s just not gonna waste time on shows like Piers Moron. No conservatives watch those Liberal Talk shows anyhow.
Thank you!
Each of us can only do what we can do, and everything will help, whether it’s monetary, volunteering, or just talking to friends and family. Bless your heart, and good luck with your employment situation.
