Presidential candidate Herman Cain isn't lacking in confidence about his 2012 prospects.
He says he expects to finish first or second in each Iowa and New Hampshire.

Try making a case FOR you candidate for a change instead of racing around here sleazing all the other candidates.
Then people MIGHT take you seriously.
I just want an honest discussion.
Any honest discussion of Perry is immediately met with lies and bullying, cat calls and distortion.
My posting history has shown that I have battled lies and half truths about Gov Perrys record at every turn, and that rationale, and reason is met with “open borders La raza Ricardo Perry” and other BS.
Your boy Ricky coddles up to illegal immigrants; try to deny that, perrybot.
I note that this thread is being turned into an attack on me and then an attack on Perry.
I thought this thread was about Mr Cain.
I understand you’re just looking for dirt on Cain, but some of the responses to the left-wing blog’s assertions that you claim to be looking for are on the blog itself, in the form of responses from third parties who have looked into them:
Most of his commenters are fellow travelers, but that’s given. What was curious is how obviously inaccurate his statements were, that a random observer was able to point them out.
As to Perry’s stance re immigration, I think a lot of GOP voters nationwide are starting to see Texas for what it is - a long slide into California. Demographics is political destiny. Perry is basically a cowboy-hat wearing Pete Wilson. If we don’t start enforcing the immigration laws soon, by throwing employers in prison, Texas will become a blue state soon enough. Weirdly enough, Cain can do that without anyone throwing the race card in his face. Perry cannot.
“...I thought this thread was about Mr Cain...”

It was until you got here.
Pete Wilson was a great Gov.
The problem with Illegal immigration resides at the federal level.
I think Mr Perry has made great strides FIGHTING the FEDS in this regard.
Howso?
If we dont start enforcing the immigration laws soon,
You mean like Texas enforcing the FEDERAL immigration laws? Didn’t realize they could do that.
Your boy Ricky coddles up to illegal immigrants; try to deny that, perrybot.
Regrettably, you’re likely correct.
“Seems the Politico propaganda hit piece on Cain is prove fraudulent on the same day it is published.”
And? What are you stupid, Johnnie, or a 12 year old? I never said I did or didn’t back any one person; in fact on the very thread where you started your shilling for this guy and attacking me because I think te “stepping stone” to the “Fair Tax” is bullshit, I stated I was completely up in the air. so, do some homework and when it comes to me, what I think or don’t think, STFU. And stop trying to antagonize an undecided voter, you freaking moron.
“If you were working 80 hours a week and you dial back to working 60 hours a week, is that hiding?”
Well, at the risk of sounding like Captain Obvious, though, isn’t this much effort pretty much SUPPOSED to be the gig?
The 999 or the flat tax will never be passed without us getting the Senate.
This is all political sideshow.
I think Perry’s plan has a better chance than Cains since it doesn’t destroy the old code or add a NEW tax.
I would like Newts 15% flat tax best of all, but it isn’t going to happen.
Obama has ADDED 16500 new IRS agents just to enforce the Obamacare mandate. These people will not go quietly into the night.
At the very least, Perry does not add to the bureaucrats.
Perry’s plan, like Gardasil gives us an opt out.
“I would like Newts 15% flat tax best of all, but it isnt going to happen.”
I’m afraid you might be right, although if it WERE possible, scrapping the apparatus and the IRS would give the flat tax the edge, and maybe now we would have a window, IMO. I like Newt’s plan too, but I say that with the disclaimer that I AM NOT VOTING FOR NEWT BECAUSE I MIGHT AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH ONE OF HIS ISSUES NOR DOES THIS MAKE ME A KOS OPERATIVE OR MARXIST. Some of the more excitable posters might stroke out if you say you agree or disagree with even ONE of the positions of their heroes and/OR villains.
THE CIRCULAR FIRING SQUAD IS GETTING FIERCE.
Gawd! we could save a ton of money is we got rid of all the money changers!
