I concur with your sentiments, but the questioned isn't quite as you psoed it.

First, just to be clear, I can't stand Mitt, because he stands for NOTHING. I don't think he has a chance in hell of getting the nomination. His support has maxed out at about 25%, and I think that NH will bury him. He's almost a favorite son there, yet he won't come close to a majority, and Cain could almost tie him.

The point is, should Mitt somehow manage to win the nomination, some on FR have said they won't even vote for him. It's not about campaigning or sending $$, it's pulling the lever. And that act, if done enough, could re-elect Obama. Personally, I'm not sure if I could do that.

When the TEA Party was in it’s early phases and the warnings about Big Govt and Obama where was Romney? He had a golden opportunity to speak out and make his voice heard as a leader but he was lying low in the tall grass. Then he shows up for the campaigns as if he’s just the next GOP annointed in-line nominee. We ain’t buying!

Hey, the guy does have a talent. He can switch his position on a critical issue faster than the Millenium Falcon on the "Kessel Run"....

It's amazing the man doesn't have permanent whiplash.
