It all depends on how you interpret the Constitution. Besides, every one knows gun nuts are homicidal maniacs.
I really hate to have to say this, but the Constitution means what it says. It doesn’t need to be interpreted. I’m not a fancy college graduate, but I can read and understand the Constitution. The Bill of Rights are a listing of our God given rights and the states shouldn’t (don’t) have any say over them. Even the Federal Government shouldn’t (don’t) have any say over them.
Of course, that has changed over the years and our Rights are slowly being changed and taken away due to our “gods in black” on the Supreme Court.
