Sounds like your kid trained you well.
You know...you can take parenting classes. Check your local community college.
Especially if you are eating it in the aisle!
Obviously moovova is a paragon of virtue and behaves perfectly under all circumstances and is never rattled and never makes errors. how lucky for her
Yip.
When was the last time you were pregnant?
Or, are you a gynecologist, midwife, neonatologist, or otherwise certified to speak on the issue of medical issues in pregnant women?
obviously
How many have you raised ms perfection
Are you a lawyer, or otherwise employed in Loss Prevention or a related field?
Don’t mind 1rude boy, he is a child in a man body, thinks it’s cute but it’s just annoying
If you forget to pay for something is it stealing?
If you unknowingly say something wrong, is it a lie?
Once when my youngest was nearly 2 (he is 4 now) we were at Safeway and he was riding in one of the carts that looks like a car at the front. Apparently his little fingers were able to get a banana off of the bunch in the cart and between the bars and into his “car”. I was cluelss until checkout when I picked up the bananas and found that I had fewer than I thought. And then he gave me his “wrapper”. I thought I was going to die of mortification. Luckily the asst manager was working the cash register and she thought it was funny as all get out. I insisted on paying for the banana (we weighed what was left, pulled one off and weighed it alone). The asst manager told me a few times that it was no big deal and not to worry. I just wanted to make it right and get the heck out! Needless to say, the little one didn’t get to go in the car carts again for a while. The
lady still works there and calls him her little monkey when she sees him. He doesn’t remember it, but he’s never done it again.
You weren't there. You don't know that she forgot. You're taking the word of a woman that was arrested for stealing sandwiches from a grocery store. (Along with her accomplice...her husband.)
Mr High & Mighty???
How's the name-calling usually work for you? Not too good, I'm guessing.
Your day is coming—you just wait.
No need to get personal, toots.
Simple solution here.
1. Weigh everybody entering the store
2. Weigh everybody leaving the store.
3. If you weigh more, you pay! We would naturally assume you ate raw filet mignon at $24/lb, too.
4. If you weigh less...well, the store won’t pay you.
A threat...that's just too funny.
Maybe you should pass on the community college parenting class...and go straight to one of those prison "boot camps" for misguided youth...sounds like you could use some "direction".
I imagine you are well beyond surreptitiously scarfing up a few meager tidbits while grocery shopping...
The discussion was on your supposed bad back and the applicability of a “free sandwich” as opposed to pregnant women getting dizzy and needing food, remember?
Yes, pregnant women do get dizzy and pass out from lack of food. Depending what the mother is doing at the time, there is a threat to her life or that of her unborn child. Does your back condition have this same symptom/risk?
And, I did not advocate for a “free sandwich,” rather that the response to remove a child from her parents for a $5 sandwich was extreme.
Who said I was a parent?
Gasp...could you possibly be “wrong” about something?
If you aren't a parent...there are some truly lucky kids out there.
Oh, and yes I used to be.
