Reporting from New York "Is it time to Occupy Miami Beach?" a shivering Max Richmond asked another New York protester as she waited to get Vitamin C near the makeshift medical tent.
They laughed and hugged for warmth.
Since hundreds of anti-greed protesters descended on a park a block from Wall Street this fall, they have faced arrest, sleep deprivation, no bathrooms and rainy weather. They've had their backpacks and iPods stolen and their food tent invaded by freeloaders and tourists. But a downpour Thursday night followed by frost Friday was a reminder to even the most dedicated occupiers of what many have said will be their greatest test a New York winter.

C’mon down FleaBaggeres! The bugs and critters are gonna have a picnic, literally!
Faced, huh? Simple solution: GTF home, you loozars!
“Anti-greed protesters”? Real greed is demanding a share of someone else’s earnings.
The food tent invaded by free loaders? BAHHAAAAAAAAAA!
Now we can watch and see just how committed these spoon-fed, self-important, white children of privilege are to their cause. My bet is on "Not so much."
Go get 'em, Mother Nature!
I know I should not have laughed...but I did.
They like nature so much, it should be fun when they get a whole bunch of nature dropped on them today.
The hugging and laughing is going to stop, and we will soon see shots of shredded tents and abandoned signs on the grass.
Then we’ll start seeing the stories about “Wall Street Hangover,” and “Occupy Depression,” as these “young, anti-greed protesters who only want a fair shake for everyone” realize they wasted their time and missed some really good new episodes of Vampire Diaries...to change the world. Sniff.
Hoping for a winter blast like no other.
Hoping for folks to lose their toes due to frostbite.
Like to see three feet of mushy snow blanket N.Y.
I am feeling way too mean this morning...
Lol.....:o)
I won't hold my breath that some one will not do something stupid.....thats a given.
I just would hate to see a massive flash fire.
Can’t wait to see what happens to their “camp” when the 50mph winds hit after midnight, tonight.
They’re not gonna make it too long, I don’t think. Things are already very cold, wet and breezy. The camera kid keeps saying, “Man, my hands are freezing! I need my gloves.”
The cleanup costs are gonna be, well...outta here.
California or Florida, here they come.
Thanks.
Seeing the winds and apparently cold weather makes me laugh.
I have a ton of things I really need to do today, but I don't want to miss seeing a bunch of tarps and other crap flying all over the place when the gusts pick up.
Pass the link along to others who need a laugh today.
The Occutards aren't going to last much longer.
We have to pass the park on our way to the 911 memorial on
Sunday.I wonder if anyone will be around after today’s weather?
