If I were the Chief, the fact that a jury came back with a verdict in a few hours would set off alarms. But to me, the stupid supervisor of the year goes to the supervisor in the article for the following: Guerrero recalled (Lt. Natalie) Cortez saying:
"You can say I'm guilty of gender bias, but oh well.... I want women to succeed in this job. You do what I tell you, you'll make it here," Evidently the jury agreed that she was guilty gender bias. The Chief should bust her back to patrol officer and let her patrol in East L.A. for a few years to remind her that a lot of good cops get passed over for promotion so that "gender bias" cops can get promoted.

$2.5 Million of Taxpayer money (that the City doesn't have), and a lawyer lines his pockets with half of it.
Harassment Claims, discrimination claims, etc., need to go to those INDIVIDUALS who are guilty, NOT THE DEEP POCKETS OF THEIR EMPLOYER, and without Tort reform, we'll never stop the Litigation Lotto games.

Just what is the height requirement for our LAPD? To me it looks like maybe it is 5 feet or the ability to see over the steering wheel.

Nothing new. This was the subplot to the Dirty Harry movie "The Enforcer" in 1971.
