Yeah, if you totally ignore his record, Newt is a great talker. For example there is Newt's jumping on the Global Warming train, and his chastising Conservatives for not rallying behind Dede Scusaffasa in NY 23. Then his trash talking about "right wing social engineering". Newt has a long record of talking a good game and being just another GOP Establishment water boy.

In a choice between Conservative principals and political expediency, Newt will go with expediency every time.

Newt was also the brains behind the GOP takeover of the House and Senate in 94, first time the GOP has done that in 40 years. Newt also put together the House leadership that balanced the budget under a very hostile democrat Bill Clinton. Newts’ house also greatly reformed federal government. In fact no one running has a conservative resume that comes anything close to being as good as Newts. Add to that that is he clearly more intelligent and articulate then any of the others and one quickly concludes that Newt is the best choice the GOP has this time. I was strongly for Sarah but without her Newt is the obvious choice for conservatives.
