OMG

George Will's characterization of Romney as the Republican George Dukakis is too real. Dukakis became the joke of press corps and the nation and it's happening with Romney right before our eyes.

'Anderson? Anderson? ROTFLMAO

Fancy term for flip flopper?

What’s the longest string of flip flops that Mitt has been caught at? Where he went from yes to no back to yes and even further? Maybe the quickest flip flop (if it is a flip flop, it’s hard to tell, it’s like looking for hay in a pile of needles) was the other day when Mitt was first for Ohio’s latest right-to-work proposition, then he dodged the question when in front of a bunch of rabid labor unionists.

This tentativeness is why he can't rise about 25%. He doesn't read as a "leader," as someone who could handle a 9/11.

It'll be his undoing as a candidate, either primary or general. If somehow he's sworn in come Jan 2013, Democrats in Congress will push him around.

I think that was Michael Dukakis and I believe there our better things to do then laugh at Republican candidates along with the idiot media.

I think they left out the diagnosis.

But they could have had a heyday with Obama's Axis II: 301.81 - Narcissistic Personality Disorder, severe.

If it knocks out Romney before he gets the nomination, I say ‘Bring it on.’ Better now than after he gets the nomination.

""SNEAK PEEK -- GEORGE WILL SLAMS MITT – Sunday’s column:

“Romney, supposedly the Republican most electable next November, is a recidivist reviser of his principles who is not only becoming less electable, he might damage GOP chances of capturing the Senate: Republican successes down the ticket will depend on the energies of the tea party and other conservatives, who will be deflated by a nominee whose blurry profile in caution communicates only calculated trimming. Republicans may have found their Michael Dukakis, a technocratic Massachusetts governor who takes his bearings from ‘data’ ... Has conservatism come so far, surmounting so many obstacles, to settle, at a moment of economic crisis, for THIS?”"

Romney should have run against Obama in their Democrat primaries.

He would have gotten much more respect running properly as a Democrat.

Conservatives, who actually give politics some thought, don’t like Romney because of the principles he espoused in the past, and because of his facility for isolating or abandoning principles. Certain principles were brought to bear in the creation of Romneycare and in the strong advocacy of “a woman’s right to choose.” Yet Romneycare is quarantined in a special case as he says it’s inapplicable to a federal program; while the pro-abort position is simply abandoned with no explanation or insight offered.

To us, the man’s clearly a hypocrite and a liar, on the make for the office of president.

Then there’s the average citizen who does not give politics so much thought, and some give it none. When they don’t like Romney, I believe it’s a simple matter of noticing how bodysnatcherly serene and benevolent he appears, and how he smiles as if all’s well. ALL IS NOT WELL. Everybody knows it. Thus he strikes many people as condescending, phony, unctuous, and possibly a little weird.

This is an interesting post from “The Atlantic Wire” forum.

I have spent the last two days pouring over the life and times of Miles Park Romney: Mitt Romney’s great-grandfather (paternal), Helamen Pratt: Mitt Romney’s great-grandfather (maternal), Gaskell Romney: Mitt Romney’s grandfather (paternal), George W. Romney: Mitt Romney’s father. I have found overwhelming prima facie evidence, including a copy of Mexican Naturalization papers for Helamen Pratt, that suggests Mitt Romney’s father, was not a US citizen at the time of Mitt’s birth, making Mitt Romney a 14th Amendment Citizen and not a natural born Citizen.

George Romney was born in Mexico to expatriated Mormon parents. That made him a citizen of Mexico at birth and not a US citizen “natural born” or otherwise.

I call upon Mitt Romney now to either post Gaskell Romney’s US naturaliztion documentes (or repatriation record) or George Romney’s US naturaliztion documents he would have filled out and signed when he was 21 years of age, or withdraw from the presidential race as Constitutionaly unqualified to take the oath of office of the presidency of the United States.
