I propose a black ribbon to symbolize the need to end all ribbon wearing.

I’m wondering how the other 6.7 billion people on the planet fare without diapers. I think in the before times, they used some kind of cloth. Then cleaned it...that must be the problem, cleaning requires work.

Oh, yeah....I thought disposable diapers were supposed to be evil to liberals...because, they are disposable.

An able-bodied man paid by the government of the United States to lie in a giant crib wetting his diaper week in week out is almost too poignant an emblem of the republic at twilight. Steyn gets it again.
Actually, this has been building for awhile. I met somebody in California 30 years ago who was getting SSI because "working gave her migraines."

Oh, yeah....I thought disposable diapers were supposed to be evil to liberals...because, they are disposable. Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro is married to Stan Greenberg, a major league rat pollster who works with James Carville and Bob Shrum at Democracy Corps, IIRC. This diaper bill should have no chance in the House. Maybe it's just part of their class warfare meme, but something stinks besides the diapers, IMHO.

Just found this on the Weekly Standard website:
Before the coming of FDR, wrote Eric Hoffer, who spent the 1920s on skid row, America was singularly free of self-pity. None of the people I talked with blamed anyone for their misfortune.

I always used cloth diapers for kids when they were infants. I soaked them in a pail then rinsed them before I put them in the washer, and I always washed them separately from all the other clothes. The only time I used disposable diapers was when we went on a trip.
Needless to say the worn out diapers made great polishing cloth for my husbands boots or dress shoes he had to wear

Diapers and politicians need to be changed often,
And, generally, for the same reason!
