During coverage of Occupy LA they were asked by a occupier to leave an area claimed as a sovereign nation and to move to the free speech area.
So it follows that the OWS sovereign nation is not a free speech area. No surprise.

OWS is a Marxist movement all the way. Try to exercise free speech in, say, Laos (one of the milder people’s paradises). If you live through the arrest, either the torture or prison starvation will get you.
OWS is cut from the same cloth. Just remember how the hippies tolerated dissent. These are their grandkids.

A self proclaimed sovereign nation? Sounds like Occupy Wall Street needs a visit from an Outraged William (Tecumseh) Sherman.
Invasion and thief of the land, is that not an offense usually associated with an act of War? Where is Congress on this? Is the president going to send in the special forces? Who knows what type of dictator will popup out there and we are pulling out of Libya and Iraq, so we should have the needed troops.
As much as I hate hippies, and I have hated them with a white burning passion for the past 45+ years.
I still cringe at the thought of unleashing an Outraged William (Tecumseh) Sherman on them. Not that I would not support the decision.
If it is a sovereign nation, then I would cut off all federal, state, and city services, including ambulance, police, garbage, sewer, electricity, everything. A fence should be constructed around the area, and people should only be allowed back into the US if they can prove citenship, and it should take as long as possible to be processed back into the US, and all vehicles entering the sovereign nation should have to go through a check point and all be searched, so as it takes as long as possible to cross the “international border” in either direction.
Oh yeah...when people or vehicles are entering the sovereign nation, all products (including clothing), created by corporations should be confiscated.
