Seires is tied up 3-3, this is it!
Matt Harrison (LH) v C Carpenter (RH)
Wash doesn’t make these guys mentally tough.
I wont say he lost it but he is part of the problem.
Have you yet counted the number of walks to Cards players that made it onto the runs total? errors and walks kept the Cards alive. They won it on force of will! I congratulated them.
At the very least, the method where the All-Star game determines home-field advantage has to go. I favor that being awarded to the team with the best record. The National League rules were a decisive factor in the fifth inning of game 6.
He doesn’t belong at first.
I admire his willingness to play all positions to round out his resume.
Ive done that and found myself out there alone.
He choked bad and he has to own it.
You’re right. He came in second.
Jerry Jones started that BS and it is a Dallas curse.
These guys aren’t to be coddled, they are supposed to perform.
Jerry started that coddling BS.
Rangers made it to two WS in spite of Washington. John Daniels built the team, Wash just cheers them on, and makes bad decisions.
if Holland is allowed to face minor league hitter Laird in the 8th, and gets him then:
Jay, Furcal and Theriot lead off the 9th. Instead, Ron allows Descalco into the game vs. Adams.
Everytime I see Dion Sanders on that Direct TV commercial with the fairy wings I wince.
Jerry let that guy sit on the sidelines in a mink coat and fedora wiff a huwt pinky toe while making mega bucks.
I think that really hurt team spirit in dallas and now its bleeding into our baseball
That's typical of an idiotic Obama supporter. (Ron Washington said he supports Obama on The Ticket a few months ago).
Or as Frank Zappa called it, "Cocaine Decisions."
what’s the score? I can’t watch.
A 5-game LCS and a 7-game WS.
Pushing MLB into d@mn near Nov. is ridiculous.
With guys signing $200M+ contracts...it's all about the $$$, so the above will never happen.
The glaring 41 walk record for the series shows this was not only a brain fart or two by Washington. And a record 3 blown saves in game 6 shows it was not one pitcher. Game 6 defense was also a big reason. These guys lost it as a team.
They should go back to 154 games, no interleague play and no divisions, the best two teams in each league go right to the World Series just like it used to be.
But having a pitcher bat with the bases loaded?.....REALLY?!?!?!?!
And look how Game 7 started, first four Rangers batters go on base, score two runs, and immediately gave back the two runs.....game over right at that point.
I would have amputated that huwt pinky toe.
I wouldn’t mind that either...there should be something said for teams that play 162(or 154)games...and come out of it with the 2 best records...than just a lousy 1-game home-field advantage in the postseason.
