He's trying to ram home the line that this was a Bush-era operation. Which, in a small respect, it was, but back then, the straw buyers were intercepted and the guns never made it over the border.
Yes, he’ll figure that THESE lies will trump and supercede his PREVIOUS lies.
Big Media will agree.
“Why is it a bit odd that the United States Attorney General is going to testify before congress about something that DHS Secretary Nepalitano knows nothing about?”
Don’t forget the Secretary of State. Hillary knows nothing about all of this. Even though by law the Sec of State’s office has to be given a heads up if unlicensed folks are going to be moving weapons. She says no they were not informed. Hillary and Janet have just been totally left out of the loop. Hard to believe. LOL!!
Has Agreed? Is he so lofty a member of the Politburo that he has that choice? Will he come in a ZIL Limo driven by a Black Panther henchman too? Will there also be a Samovar with hot tea for him to sip as he endures his ordeal? Maybe some caviar canapes too? God save the Republic.
President Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon and as I recall there were never any charges brought against Nixon.
Lest we not forget, these people are above our laws.
Well Hillary is already a pro at getting away with perjury.
She will simply tell Holder, All you have to do is say “I don’t remember”. The Republicans will buy it every time.
I HATE this administration. But this Congress is toothless. Were I Holder, I´d tell them to go to Hell.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list

You can bet she will be on the phone every night between now and Dec. 8 coaching him on what to say.
” the guns never made it over the border. “
Actually a whole bunch did make it across the Border. And when that happened, the program was shut down within two/three days.
Hope they find a large smoker and grill hoders sorry ass til he turns pink.
Remember Scooter Libby! Railroaded not for lying, but for merely mis-speaking.
Ping to post #33.
Testify and make a deal.
Fall on the sword.
(Hmmm, who does Issa have who might drop a dime on me?)
I'll take "Testify and make a deal" for $800, Darrell!
Interview with Representative Darrell Issa
KING: Do you take the president at his word? Do you trust the thoroughness of the administration’s internal investigation? And is there any sharing of information? Maybe they have information you would like. Maybe you have information that could help them.
ISSA: I do take the president at his word. I believe that he wants to hold all of those accountable.
I don’t take the attorney general at his word, because I get the distinct impression they want to make this go away by blaming low- ranking people, the resignation of the U.S. attorney, rather than realizing that plenty of people knew or should have known to stop this program and didn’t.
And we want to know that the safeguards, not just by name, but by position, will really be there in the future, because we can’t bring these two agents back to life. We can’t recall the 2,000 weapons.
But we can take steps to make sure this wouldn’t happen in the future. We owe that to the families. We owe that to the next administration, because this is not a Republican mistake or a Democratic mistake. This is the kind of mistake bureaucracies make. And if we don’t hold them accountable, who will?
In the interim, Congress AND Holder/Obama/DNC
are now responsible for every death, murder, grenade
atrocity between now and then.
ATF boss unfazed by firearm probe

The new acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is pledging to continue a crackdown on firearms trafficking from the United States to Mexico despite embarrassing revelations about an ATF gun probe on the Southwest border.
B. Todd Jones, the U.S. attorney in Minneapolis, was appointed about seven weeks ago as acting ATF director. He was in Chicago for a convention of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Jones, who will remain U.S. attorney in Minneapolis as he runs ATF, said hes been busy dealing with the fallout over Operation Fast and Furious, a subject of inquiries by Congress and the Justice Department.
Beginning in 2009, ATF agents allowed licensed gun dealers to sell weapons to illegal straw purchasers in an effort to track the guns to Mexican drug cartel leaders. Yet the agents reportedly lost track of more than 2,000 firearms, two of which were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.
Earlier this month, Jones announced several high-level ATF management changes linked to the scandal. But in an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, he said the inquiries into Fast and Furious wont hinder gun cases.
There was firearms trafficking going on from the United States to Mexico before this case went awry, Jones said. And there will be going forward. Our job as a law enforcement agency is to do the best job we can to disrupt and dismantle organizations and individuals who are engaged in that business. And thats not going to stop.
