A new statewide poll by the Behavior Research Center shows businessman Herman Cain tied with Mitt Romney in a potential Arizona Republican presidential primary.

The BRC Rocky Mountain Poll gives both Cain and Romney 20 percent of the vote. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas is next with 9 percent. Texas Gov. Rick Perry grabs 7 percent in the GOP field.

There is a sizable Mormon population here in AZ, so Romney can’t even get a majority here? LOL.

That thought crossed my mind too. Oh well, Mitt should still carry Utah with a 90% margin and another 8% going to his coreligionist Huntsman.

I'm not even a Republican (I'm a "conservative"), and I think that poll is nuts. I think Obama is toast in the traditionally red states that he managed to win in 2008, and likely to lose a few purple states as well.

I believe it will be a huge blow out against Obama in 2012. Admittedly though, I do not have a good track record in calling blow outs, having called it that way in 2000 and 2004. I also thought that 2008 would be a squeaker, with McCain barely pulling it out.

One might think with my record, I'd get out of the predicting business.

And Obama — amidst all his many failures — is beating all the GOPers in AZ. Amazing.

Words can’t express my disappointment that Obama is actually srill in the running. It makes a clear thinking person physically ill.

The FoxNews poll out yesterday showed 52% say their disappointment in Obama's centers around the belief his ideas are good ones and not enough of them have been passed. A very large part of the American electorate still has a jones for Obama.

It won’t be that easy. The left is going to pull out all of the stops and the media hasn’t even started showing how biased their going to be.

Arizona only has a six percent population of Mormons.
Try again...

Mitt isn’t from Utah, only worked there for a couple years running the Olympics. He sold the house he had there. How could he “stay” there?

He sold his home in Mass. as well. He has a residence in California and New Hampshire, as I understand it.

You probably live in Mesa or Snowflake, which have higher percentages...??

Statewide, it averages out to about 6 percent.

“It might mean he’s still keeping Michelle. Don’t get so dirty minded.”

You’re right. Maybe I’ll stop by the local College and get a professor to brainwash me.

He better leave his pimp hat and the black “posse” he had with him that I saw on FOX news today if he wants to win outside of the ghetto cities.

I don't see how he can lose. He is “challenged” by snow white and the seven dwarfs.

This is the weakest field of republican candidates I have ever seen. They would lose to Biden. Dukakis could beat all of these idiots.

Yes, it is a very weak field, but Obama is even weaker!
